HPER Complex
The HPER Complex, home to Oredigger Men’s and Women’s basketball and volleyball, was completed in 1977. During a special session of the 42nd Montana State Legislature in 1971, Dr. Fred De Money’s “dream facility” came into existence. Construction of the building cost a total of $2.5 million, and it is still in use today.
The HPER now houses the Kelvin Sampson Court, Olympic sized swimming pool, cardio room, racquetball courts, locker rooms, classrooms, and offices. The HPER was recently renovated and has seating for 2,000 Digger fans.
Campus Recreation has its office in the HPER. From intramural programs to outdoor equipment rental, Campus Recreation is committed to providing non-varsity athletic opportunities for all Montana Tech students
